This stunning central Christchurch home is all about creating space and angles.  Such is the level of design and craftsmanship that it took out the Resene New Home $2 million - $4 million category at the 2022 Canterbury Master Builders’ House of the Year awards.

The Builders and the Vision

Built by John Garlick Builders, the project has been described as “A highly challenging project, demanding utmost precision and craftsmanship to realise the artistic vision for this very beautiful house.”

Complexity and Planning

“Because of the home’s highly complex origami-inspired design, the sequencing of the build had to be planned with the utmost care.”

The Finished Product

“The result is a home that has been well thought through and appears almost jewel-like in its chiseled, precise appearance.”
