By incorporating large hardwood beams, which the owners had sourced over the years, with exposed steelwork, raw concrete and plenty of subtle details blended with beautifully crafted bespoke joinery units, the house champions a rich tapestry of old and new.
The judges said the home balanced an eclectic selection of natural materials well.
A range of styles are successfully brought together and a sense of time is invested in the work.
